SCOW offers a wide range of services and programs, most of which are free of charge, dedicated to fulfilling this mission.On an annual basis, the agency provides service to approximately 500 mainly Latino families.
The Spanish Community of Wallingford (SCOW), or Comunidad Hispana de Wallingford, Inc., was founded in 1972 by a small group of Latinos in Wallingford, Connecticut.
The Spanish Community of Wallingford is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with a concert featuring the internationally acclaimed “Mariachi Real de Mexico” the “Villalobos Brothers” and the folkloric ballet “Raices de Mexico” of New York City, veterans of Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Madison Square Garden. Join us for a romantic night of Latin music and folkloric dance, followed by a reception with the musicians and dancers.
